A Taste of History: The Inaugural Chinese Canadian History Fair

It's
only the 2nd week of January and already CCHS is buzzing with activity.
Our next event is the Inaugural Chinese Canadian History Fair on
Saturday, January 22 from 10:30am to 4:00pm. Come and meet over 20 BC
researchers and their projects on Chinese Canadian history.
Whether
you're an experienced researcher or just starting out (or just want to
learn more about Chinese Canadian history!), this Fair is for *you*.
Come and find out what your fellow CCHS members are up to!

When: Saturday, January 22 from 10:30am to 4:00pm

Where: Joyce Walley Learning Centre, Vancouver Museum, 1100 Chestnut St (in Vanier Park at the south end of the Burrard Bridge)

Admission: Free of charge

Parking/Transportation:
The #2 and #22 buses stop at Cornwall & Chestnut, which is about 3
blocks from the Museum and Vanier Park.  There is also ample free
parking in front of the Museum.

CCHS Annual General Meeting

The
1st CCHS Annual General Meeting is tentatively scheduled for the
evening of Saturday, February 26, 2005. Elections will be held to fill
board vacancies, and plans for 2005 will be presented. All current CCHS
members are invited – Keep your calendars free!
